Is EMS training safe?
Yes, EMS is safe. It's low-impact, minimizing joint stress, and is always supervised by one of our certified coaches to ensure proper and effective use. EMS is also well-researched and FDA-cleared.
How does EMS work?
EMS (Electric Muscle Stimulation) training uses electrical impulses to stimulate muscle contractions. During a session, you wear a vest, belt and straps equipped with electrodes strategically placed on all major muscle groups. These electrodes send controlled electrical impulses to your muscles, causing them to contract and relax. This mimics the natural signals your brain sends during exercise, activating a higher percentage of muscle fibers than traditional workouts. The result is an efficient, effective full-body workout that enhances strength, endurance and muscle tone in just 20 minutes.
What results can I expect?
You can expect noticeable improvements in muscle tone, strength and endurance within a few weeks. Many clients also experience enhanced posture, increased metabolism and overall body shaping. Results vary based on individual goals and fitness levels, but EMS is designed to deliver faster, more efficient results compared to traditional workouts.
Will EMS help me lose weight?
Absolutely! EMS is a powerful tool for weight loss. Each session burns up to 500 calories and triggers a lasting afterburn effect, meaning your body keeps burning fat long after you leave the studio.
Is this the same as TENS?
No, this is not TENS. While EMS can also help with pain relief by stimulating nerves, it goes far beyond that. TENS is designed to provide temporary, localized pain relief by targeting specific areas, whereas EMS works the entire body by engaging all major muscle groups at once. EMS activates deep muscle fibers for strength, toning and fat loss — delivering a full-body workout that TENS simply can't match.
What do I need to bring to my session?
Just yourself. We provide your personal TENCEL training outfit, pH-balanced water and fresh towels — everything is included in every session.
Who is EMS not suitable for?
EMS is not suitable during pregnancy, with a pacemaker or severe neurological conditions. Your free trial session always starts with a short health screening — together we'll make sure EMS is right for you.
